The swim course is 3.8 km long. It is a true open-water crossing, from one shore of the lake to the other.
The bike leg covers 180 km, crossing the entire Valle Camonica and tackling the Aprica Pass, the Mortirolo Pass (from the less demanding side), and the legendary Gavia Pass.
The second Transition Zone is located in Ponte di Legno, a renowned tourist destination in the upper valley.
The transition area is set right in the historic town center.
The run is a trail course, almost entirely on unpaved terrain, covering 38.5 km along the trails of the upper valley. Athletes will climb from 1,200 m at T2 up to 2,600 m at the finish line at Passo Paradiso, passing through the checkpoint at Passo del Tonale, located 8 km from the finish, where the feared cut-off requires athletes to pass before 9:00 p.m.
Finish at Passo Paradiso, at an altitude of 2,600 m, by midnight. For most athletes, this will be after sunset.
The start is scheduled at 4:00 a.m., from the opposite shore of Lake Iseo with respect to the transition area, in the town of Predore. Athletes will be transported by boat.
The course is a straight line crossing the lake. The positioning point of the first buoy on the opposite shore is indicated by a powerful beacon directed toward the sky. A second front buoy will be placed approximately 500 m from the swim exit point.

A 180 km journey crossing the entire Valle Camonica, with a total positive elevation gain of 4,100 m. After approximately 75 km, the course reaches Edolo, where athletes face the first of three mountain passes: Aprica Pass (1,176 m a.s.l.). The climb then continues toward the legendary Mortirolo Pass (1,852 m a.s.l.).
The steep descent of this iconic pass leads back down the valley to Monno, before a gentle climb toward Ponte di Legno. Riders pass through the historic town center of Ponte di Legno (km 140 – 1,200 m a.s.l.), where a refreshment station and the first major crowd support await.
From here begins the ascent to the legendary Gavia Pass, reaching an altitude of 2,621 m. A turnaround point is located at the pass, followed by the final descent to the transition area, set in the heart of Ponte di Legno.

The trail run course covers 38.5 km on mostly unpaved terrain along the trails of the upper Valle Camonica. Athletes will climb from 1,200 m at T2, located in the historic center of Ponte di Legno, up to 2,600 m at the finish line at Passo Paradiso.
The first 20 km follow a very undulating and demanding route, not to be underestimated, in the area around Ponte di Legno and along the valley floor. The course touches the hamlets of Zoanno, Precasaglio and Villa Dalegno, then crosses to the opposite side of the valley, passing through the town center of Temù. From here, athletes climb to Valbione (altitude 1,500 m) before descending back to Ponte di Legno for the well-deserved second wave of crowd support and the mid-run refreshment station (km 22).
This is the ideal point where support teams may join the athletes and accompany them for the second part of the course.
The final challenges of the day now begin: ascending the ski slope, athletes reach Passo del Tonale at 1,880 m, where Base Vita – T3 is located (km 31), together with the notorious 21:00 CUT-OFF time.
Once past the demanding time gate at Passo del Tonale, the “gates to Paradise” open: one last effort over the final 7.5 km, with 750 m of elevation gain, along a high-mountain trail through Val Presena, leading to the highly coveted finish line at 2,600 m at Passo Paradiso.
